What does multipurpose solution do?
Multipurpose solution is designed to perform several care steps for compatible reusable lenses. The exact rub, rinse, soaking time and discard schedule are printed on the bottle. “No-rub” wording does not mean you can ignore every cleaning step; follow the current label and professional instructions.
Do not top off old liquid in the case. Empty used solution, care for the case as directed, and start each storage cycle with fresh solution.
How is hydrogen peroxide solution different?
Hydrogen peroxide systems require the case supplied or specified for the product. That case neutralizes the peroxide over the full labeled time. Unneutralized peroxide must not go directly into the eye or be used like ordinary rinsing drops. Never transfer it to an unlabeled bottle or substitute a standard flat case.
What is saline for?
Sterile saline may be used for certain rinsing steps when directions permit, but it should not be assumed to clean or disinfect a reusable colored contact. A lens can look clear and still require the full disinfection process. If a bottle simply says saline, read the purpose and warnings instead of treating it as all-in-one solution.
Can eye drops replace contact lens solution?

Daily vs reusable colored contacts
