KPOP2 Lens Journal helps shoppers compare colored contact lens products, understand the information shown on product pages and make safer, better-documented choices. This page explains how our editorial content is prepared, what it can and cannot establish, and how to request a correction.

Who writes the Lens Journal

Articles are prepared by the KPOP2 Editorial Team. The byline identifies the team responsible for research, product-record checks, writing and updates. It does not represent a medical credential. When an article requires medical, prescription or fitting guidance, we rely on current public guidance from qualified authorities and direct readers to an eye-care professional for individual advice.

How we verify product information

We compare the exact product name, brand, replacement schedule, package quantity, available prescription selections and published measurements against the current KPOP2 product record and, when available, official manufacturer information. Similar names, colors or photographs are not treated as proof that two products are identical. If a specification cannot be confirmed, we label it as unavailable or leave it out rather than infer it.

KPOP2 carries contact lenses from Korean and global brands. We do not describe every product as Korean, and we do not claim that a product is approved for sale in Korea unless product-specific evidence supports that statement.

Safety and care sources

General contact-lens safety and care statements are checked against authoritative public guidance, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, together with instructions for the exact product where available. Advertising and endorsement language is reviewed with reference to U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance.

KPOP2 sells products discussed in the Lens Journal. That commercial relationship does not change our requirement to identify the exact product, separate confirmed specifications from interpretation and avoid inventing wear-test results, clinical findings or universal appearance outcomes. Unless an article clearly says otherwise, visual descriptions are editorial comparisons of published product information and imagery, not a controlled clinical test or a promise of how a lens will look or feel on every wearer.

Updates and corrections

Product availability, packaging and published specifications can change. Articles show publication and update dates when the theme provides them. We revise material errors, broken links and outdated product records when they are confirmed. Significant corrections are made in the article or recorded in its update note where appropriate.
