Frequently Asked Questions
What details should I check before choosing a toric lens?
Check every parameter prescribed for each eye and the exact lens model. A matching sphere power alone does not establish a match.
Are all colors or brands available in toric versions?
Availability varies by model. Confirm the exact color, full parameters, available powers, and schedule on each product listing.
Does a toric package always contain a pair?
Package quantity can vary. Check whether a listing describes individual lenses or a multi-lens box and order the prescribed powers needed for each eye.
Can I substitute a lens with similar parameters?
Do not assume lenses are interchangeable based on similar power or appearance. Confirm the exact product with your eye-care professional.
What prescription details should I compare for toric lenses?
Check the exact sphere, cylinder and axis options shown for the selected model against your current contact lens prescription for each eye.
Are cylinder and axis options the same for every product?
No. Available parameters can vary by model and variant. Confirm the exact options on the product page.
Can a regular colored lens replace a toric lens?
A similar color or design does not confirm the correction required by a toric prescription. Check the exact lens type and ask a professional if unsure.
Where can I check a product's available axis choices?
Review the exact product options and specifications; available choices can differ across models.
Does a color name confirm toric correction?
No. Confirm the product type and toric parameters listed for the exact item.
Can two toric models have different base curves or diameters?
Yes. Lens measurements can vary by model. Review each listing and your prescribed parameters.
