Clear Toric Contacts: Ultra 6p Monthly vs O2 Balance 30p Daily

Ultra Astigmatism 6p Monthly contains six individual lenses; OLENS O2 Balance 1Day Clear Toric 30p contains thirty. The daily box represents thirty single-eye uses, while the monthly box contains six replacement units. Decide which exact model is prescribed for you before using those counts to plan a purchase.

Ultra Monthly and O2 Balance Daily: what each box contains
Bausch + Lomb Ultra Astigmatism (6p) Monthly is listed as a clear monthly product with six individual lenses per box. OLENS O2 Balance 1Day Clear Toric (30p) is listed as a clear daily product with thirty individual lenses per box.
“Clear” describes the absence of a cosmetic color choice in these listings. It does not mean that the lens is a non-toric product. The exact model and prescription configuration still need attention, even when you are not choosing a brown or gray design.

How many pairs or replacement units do you get?
| Package | Count means | If both eyes share the exact prescribed configuration |
|---|---|---|
| O2 Balance 1Day 30p | 30 single-use lenses | 15 pairs for planned two-eye uses |
| Ultra Astigmatism Monthly 6p | 6 monthly replacement units | 3 pairs, replaced under the confirmed schedule |
When the eyes require different configurations, assign a box to its matching eye. Thirty daily lenses for one eye provide thirty uses for that eye; the other eye needs its own supply. The monthly count does not grant a fixed number of wearing hours.
Which supplies belong in the cost comparison?
The FDA distinguishes single-use disposable lenses from planned replacement products. A daily disposable is discarded after use; a reusable lens requires its instructed care between uses. See FDA: daily disposable and planned replacement lenses.
- Daily buying routine: plan enough unopened, correctly prescribed lenses for each intended use.
- Monthly buying routine: plan replacement units and the compatible care supplies required by the supplied instructions.
- Either routine: retain the exact model and prescription details when reordering.
This is also why dividing each box price by its printed lens count does not produce an equivalent cost per wearing day. The units are consumed under different replacement routines. Any personal cost comparison needs an actual planned use pattern and current product prices.
Can you switch clear toric models for a different box size?
A more convenient box format is a useful topic for a fitting discussion. It is not evidence that you can transfer a prescription from Ultra Astigmatism to O2 Balance or in the reverse direction. The CDC advises consulting your eye-care provider when changing contact-lens type. See About Contact Lens Types.
Is the 30-lens box five times the supply?
It has five times as many individual lenses as a six-lens box, but the replacement routines differ. That ratio cannot establish five times as many wearing days or a better cost per day.
For the daily-box arithmetic, read 10p, 20p and 30p wearing-day counts. If your eyes need different values, use the separate-eye quantity guide. A daily routine away from home also needs a plan for travel spares and discarded lenses.
